In The Modern West: American Landscapes, 1890-1950,
the role of the American West and its relation with modernism in the
U.S. will be explored. Such artists as Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams,
Jackson Pollock and others will be featured in this showcase showing
that the West was unrelated to modernism, still leaving an impact that

ANGEL-A @ Aero Theatre
Director Luc Besson has astounded many film
audiences with such features as “The Professional and the
“Fifth Element.” The man nowadays has produced some
high-end gritty action films (“The Transporter,”
“Unleashed”). Besson has returned to the directors chair
with ANGEL-A, a story chronicling a down-on-his -luck criminal who
seeing that its all far decides to jump into the Seine. As he's about
to do so he sees a beautiful woman, Angela about to do the same and in
actuality, she beats him to it. Rescuing her, the two forge a
friendship though it's not as what it seems with Angela.

The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design @ Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising
The winner of this year's Academy Award for Best
Costume Design went to Milena Canonero's exquisite work on Sofia
Coppola's “Marine Antoinette” The turn of the century gowns
were as stunning and were a beauty to watch on screen. Fans of the film
can check out several of the gowns at the Fashion Institute of Design
and Merchandising exhibit, The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design.
Also featured are costumes from such films as Dreamgirls,
Apocalypto and last year's Academy winner: Memoirs of a Geisha.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks @ Staples Center
While the Lakers have surprised many of its critics
this season, the Dallas Mavericks have astounded critics and fans alike
with their fantastic play this year. Carried by star forward Dirk
Nowitzki, the Mavs have been the kings of the NBA sporting one of the
top records in the league. For awhile the Lakers have owned the
Mavericks but things have changed (namely rosters) thus Sunday's match

Besides having the capability to make thousands of

On Monday night the trio will present a myriad of clips from some of
their favorite obscure sports film. One only hopes that classic Kevin
Bacon/basketball classic “The Air Up There” will be
