Anyone who says that just doesn't get it.  If you can handle the geekery for a day and aren't too scared of being a kid again, or at the very least can operate under the pretense that this is just for your niece/nephew/little cousin, you might learn a thing or two at California Science Center’s Marvel Superheroes Science Exhibition.  The California Science Center is located at 700 State Dr., Exposition Park, Los Angeles.  For more info, visit www.californiasciencecenter.org.

DENNIS HOPPER @ Ace Gallery
Most of us know Dennis Hopper from his work in films like Easy Rider, Speed or Blue Velvet. You might have seen him on “24” or maybe you recognize his voice from hours spent playing “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.” Let’s face it, the unconventional actor/director is a legend. But, few people realize that long before his days in Hollywood began, Hopper’s first passion was art. This exhibit brings his photos, large paintings and film clips to the city that has most profoundly influenced his creative vision for the past 50 years, Los Angeles. Ace Gallery is located at 5514 Wilshire Blvd., in Los Angeles. For more info, visit www.acegallery.net.
