DAVID HOCKNEY PORTRAITS @ LACMA
Artist David Hockney has been in the business for
over 50 years. This long running period has resulted in more than 150
paintings, drawings, photographs, collages and prints. Hockney’s
art is mainly portraits of his relatives, friends, compatriots, and
even himself all done in unusual/distinct shapes and forms. This latest
exhibit for Hockney will be his third for the Los Angeles County Museum

dance-rock, emo rap but slideshow art-pop? Friends its true, slideshow
art pop exists in the form of the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow
Players. A three-member family: a mom, a dad, and a young
daughter who knows how to rock it out on the drums. With the use of a
projector, the group display photos of anonymous deceased strangers
while singing crafty pop gems are sung about the projections. Tickets
